Snappy Dresser

Last week I made this really great top, so so great. Best top ever ma-

Overselling it? Ok.

It was just missing one minor detail: the things that keep it closed. I know my style can veer into the bold, but even that’s a bit more controversial than I like to get.

I’ve put buttons on many a thing, but I’ve never worked with snaps before so, hey sure new thing to try.

I went with brass finished snaps

Grabbed my tools.

Thankfully, these came with picture instructions, because reading is ugh!

I was skeptical that this would even work as a puncture tool…

…but it just goes to show that I have no freakin’ clue what I’m talking about half of the time.

Then I lined it up and hammered away.

I’d like to give a quick shout-out to my downstairs neighbour, you’re the real hero here.

Now my shirt closes!!

So so easy!!! Buttons piss me off, I might do this more often.

Plus, looks a little more impressive.
